spoonshine 2oz. - jojoba and beeswax wood finish
Homemade wood finish, made of beeswax and jojoba oil. Perfect for any wood in the kitchen, utensils, wood toys that might end up in a baby’s mouth (that’s why I first started making this), and works really well as a refresh coating on worn areas of previously finished wood.
This formula is a solid waxy material in the tin, but when applied flows nicely, more like an oil, to penetrate the pores in the wood surface. The beeswax provides protection and durability of the finish. This is the finish I use on all my utensils, anything used for food, and earrings.
Depending on your use, a 2oz container can last quite a while. A little bit goes a long ways! I recommend applying with a soft cotton cloth, lint free if possible, let it sit, then wipe it down with a clean cloth. Simple. Smells great too!
